Shield Basic – An Officer’s Field Guide is an all-in-one phone application that will provide up to date legislation and information, and will also function when tower or internet access is not available.  The database is downloaded onto the phone and when an update is available, such as when set fines are changed or new legislation is enacted, the database will be updated automatically.  Your subscription must be current and valid for the database to be updated.

Shield Basic was developed for Iphone, Ipad, Ipod, Android phones utilizing OS 2.1 and newer versions, and Blackberry phones with OS 6.0 and newer versions. Several online features accessible through the subscription page are provided to facilitate management of user accounts. One useful feature is the capability of changing the phone on the user account as each user account licence can only be used with one device.
